We are a firm of insurance brokers and consultants duly licensed by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) and registered by the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) to transact all classes of insurance business. Our capital base and Professional Indemnity cover are well in excess of the amounts prescribed by statute. We also maintain compliance with regulations relating to the ethics and standards of practice as recognized and stipulated in the relevant laws of Nigeria.

UTIB Insurance Brokers Limited was incorporated in July 1971 and has since then remained a frontline firm of insurance intermediaries, but operating under the name United Pensions Consultants. However, through an acquisition deal in November 1997, which allowed for legal change of name and full transfer of ownership interest, the Board and Management were taken over by a new crop of individuals comprising tested investors and other core professionals who have made their marks in their respective fields of endeavor. Our operations are fully computerized, confirming our resolve to use modern technology to render efficient services.

Prof. Ndi Okereke Onyiuke, OON
Chairman
Professor Ndi Okereke-Onyiuke is a woman of honour and hardwork. She graduated with First Class Honours in dual B.Sc. Degree in Economics and Computer Science and completed her PhD/DBA in Finance and Securities at City University of New York, U.S.A. Her numerous academic awards include being selected for President Carter’s Executive Exchange Programme [1980], a listing in the “who is who in America” [1981], Goldman Award for the best thesis and Cambridge University 1977 Beta Gamma Sigma Award.
Otunba B. A. Adenuga
Chairman
The Otunba is an accomplished industrialist who runs a mini conglomerate under the name DEMUS MAYOR NIG. LTD. He graduated in Chemistry in 1968 from the University of Ibadan and has since then been in both public and private business. He was Brewery Manager with the Nigerian Breweries Plc, a one-time Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Salt Co. Ltd., Ota, Ogun State and holds the Chieftaincy title of The Bajulaiye of Ijebuland. He was the pioneer Chairman of Devcom Merchant Bank [now merged with ETB Bank.
Mr. Tony Aletor

Mr. Aletor has B.Sc. [Hons] insurance from University of Lagos [1985], Masters in Business Administration from University of Ibadan [1997] and is an Associate of various professional bodies namely; The Chartered Insurance Institute London [1991], The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers [1996] and The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers [1996]. He is a specialist in Investment and Life Assurance, using his diverse training and experience in insurance and stockbroking to the best advantage.

Adegboyega Olulade

Mr. Adegboyega Olulade is a graduate of the University of Ife [now Obafemi Awolowo
University] Ile-Ife. An Investment Banker, Stockbroker and Financial Consultant by
profession, he has financial and commercial experience garnered in the course of work in various financial institutions. He was at various times the Head of capital and money market at Farida Investment and Securities Limited, a member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Pat Azurunma
MD/CEO
Pat’s insurance career started in 1990 as a Youth Corper at Foresight Insurance Brokers. He rose to the level of a Manager in 1996 before joining UTIB Insurance Brokers Ltd., first as Coordinator and later as GM/COO, a position he occupied until September, 2004 when he teamed up with Capital Express General Insurance Ltd as Chief Operating Officer.
